Two older cousins in Italy were once the inspiration for his choice. Hair stylist That was what the young Sandro Ferraccini wanted to become. The expression ‘learning from the ground up’ has an almost literal meaning for Sandro. In Palermo, at the age of 16 he started with hair washing and sweeping the salon floor. And that even most humble of tasks ultimately bear fruit, it turned out. ‘The beauty about washing hair is that only then you really learn and feel the consistancy and natural flow of the hair. For me that is still the basis for the way I work’, tells Sandro.

Driven by ambition and the desire to increase his knowledge and skills brought Sandro Ferraccini to the best hair salons in Rome. After that is was onwards and upwards with the famous names in hair in Milan, Paris and Amsterdam. Interesting years, in which Sandro mastered the details of the hair styling profession, and also discovered his entrepreneurial side.
Love, what else, brought Sandro to Haarlem, where he eventually realized his dream. His own salon: Sandro Ferraccini Hairstylist.
Well established name
In the ten years that followed Sandro Ferraccini has become an established name as a hair stylist in Haarlem and around. Both ladies and gents know their way to his salon.
‘This salon is a great change compared to what I had before. The spa-like approach is exactly what I had in mind, because I felt my customers are worth more than what I could offer before’, says Sandro. Quality time at the hair salon, that’s what Sandro Ferraccini wants to offer his clients at the Kleine Houtstraat 13A in Haarlem. And as you may expect, there’s a perfect coffee (or tea) waiting for you.
